Inner Strength Retreat
A deep embodied immersion for reconnection, clarity & nervous system restoration
Reclaim your inner strength in the Romanian Carpathians
For those feeling burned out, disconnected, or ready for real inner change – not another wellness escape.
Substance-free. Trauma-aware.
This retreat is for you if you:

Feel burned out, emotionally drained, or lost

Are navigating a major life transition (career or personal life shift, grief, crisis of meaning etc)

Have done therapy or personal growth work but feel the need for something deeper and more embodied

Work as a therapist, coach, healer, creative, or helping professional

Are tired of superficial spirituality and crave authentic depth

Want a genuine nervous system reset and reconnection with yourself
You Will Experience
Nervous System Restoration
Feel safety and natural vitality returning to your body. Release chronic tension and the constant state of overdrive.
Emotional Release & Clarity
Gently let go of accumulated stress, grief, or numbness in a safe and supported way. Regain mental clarity and a quieter mind.
Embodied Presence & Authentic Power
Reconnect with your body as a source of wisdom and strength. Rebuild healthy boundaries and a steady inner confidence.
Deep Reconnection
With yourself, with nature, and with what truly matters – away from digital noise and social masks.
Practical Integration
Leave with tangible tools and a renewed inner anchor you can actually use in daily life.
Freedom
Step beyond limiting patterns, familiar inner constraints, and habitual ways of seeing yourself and life.
During the Retreat
A journey through four stages
A space to clear emotional overload, mental noise, and the constant pressure of modern life restoring connection with body, heart, mind, and spirit.
A return to clarity, deeper presence, and the feeling of being part of something larger than everyday survival.
Reconnect with what is stable, real, and deeply alive beneath the surface of daily stress.
Through embodied and shamanic practices, nature immersion, and authentic human connection, the retreat helps restore inner support, instinct, and trust in life itself.
Rediscover the quiet strength that emerges when the nervous system softens and the body regains trust in itself.
Reconnect with your natural vitality, inner steadiness, spiritual resilience, and the courage to fully inhabit your own presence.
We live in a time of uncertainty, noise, and constant change.
The retreat helps restore clarity, deeper perception, and the ability to sense your direction beyond fear, confusion, and survival mode.
Leave with a more grounded connection to yourself, to life, your path and to what truly matters.
The Practices
Nature Immersion
Extended time in the Carpathian forests and mountains - walking, silence, and simply being. A powerful way to let the nervous system recalibrate in nature.
Body and Somatic Work
Gentle but powerful practices that help release deep-held tension and restore natural flow, energy, and vitality in the body. Everything is invitational - no forced catharsis.
Subconscious Journey / Guided Deep Meditation
Safe, structured inner processes that allow you to access deeper layers of emotion, intuition, and inner wisdom while remaining fully grounded and in control.
Evening Fire and Authentic Sharing
A held space for honest reflection, expression, and integration. No pressure to speak - you participate only to the degree that feels right for you.
Safety and Approach
Safety is at the foundation of this retreat.
Completely substance-free – no plant medicines, no psychedelics, no altered states through substances
Trauma-aware and psychologically grounded facilitation
Small group for depth and real safety
Strong, clear, and kind boundaries
Post-retreat integration support
Our approach combines deep embodied practices with contemporary understanding of trauma, the nervous system, and human psychology through honest, respectful, and powerful work.
A Living Format
In everyday life, we are constantly guided by schedules, deadlines, and external structures.
But deep transformation begins when we soften the need to control every step and allow ourselves to become more present to the process itself.
This retreat does not follow a rigid timetable but neither is it unstructured chaos.
The retreat unfolds through a natural rhythm:
Morning — body, breath, awakening, grounding into presence.
Daytime — deeper practices, guided processes, nature immersion, lectures, group and individual work.
Afternoon — integration, silence, forest, rest, personal space.
Evening — fire, movement, breath, reflection, deeper inner processes.
Throughout the retreat, we stay attentive to the energy and needs of the group, allowing the process to remain alive, responsive, and balanced. The experience moves organically between rest and intensity, reflection and emotional release, embodiment and expanded perception, human connection and inner silence.
Founder & Guide
Ivan Petkanych
Ivan is the creator of the retreat’s original methodology, the founder of Travel with Sense, the Sacred Yoga System, the philosophy of the Golden Path, and the Transsystem Approach, an interdisciplinary framework exploring the relationship between consciousness, human transformation, systems thinking, embodiment, and lived reality.
For more than 15 years, he has guided thousands of people through retreats, transformational programmes, spiritual intensives, and deep experiential work across Europe.
His work brings together psychotherapy, meditative and embodied practices, symbolic systems, spirituality, and systemic analysis into a living transformational process that cannot be reduced to a single method or school.
Many describe their experience with Ivan not simply as learning, but as encountering a radically different quality of presence, one that opens space for clarity, deep inner movement, reconnection, and profound personal shifts.
He does not offer ready-made answers or fixed spiritual dogmas. Instead, he creates a field in which people begin to see beyond habitual patterns, inherited limitations, and simplified views of themselves and reality.
His approach is both deeply grounded and intuitively precise combining psychological depth, direct perception, human honesty, and an unusual capacity to work with the hidden dynamics shaping inner and outer life.
Direct yet compassionate, challenging yet accepting, Ivan guides people through processes that often touch far beyond words, reconnecting them with strength, presence, meaning, and a deeper relationship with life itself.
His work is not about escaping reality, but about learning how to fully inhabit it consciously, courageously, and authentically.
The Team
The retreat is supported by a carefully held team of facilitators, organisers, psychologists, yoga therapists, and practitioners who help maintain the space, rhythm, safety, and integrity of the process throughout the retreat.
This becomes especially important in larger groups: it allows the retreat to remain both deeply immersive and individually attentive, where the power of the collective field is balanced with genuine care for each person’s unique experience.
